What are good habits that will start your day right? Consistency is the key to many things in life, including a great morning routine. You must set a fixed sleep time and wake-up time then maintain that schedule as often as you can. Doing so allows you to have a good night`s rest so you won`t wake up tired the next morning.

They`re like a false start to your day. If you hit snooze a lot, it may be because you need to rest. Adults typically need 7-9 hours of sleep per night. The first crucial step is to get out of bed.

Self-affirmations like, “I am smart and strong”, “I am grateful for another day”, or “Today will be a great day” are a great start. Keep a glass of water by your bedside so you can drink it right after waking up. Water is great because it aids in the digesting of the food you eat, absorbing the nutrients from it, and eliminating waste products. 6.

Exercise or stretch. A morning exercise can help regulate your sleep-wake cycle, not to mention aid in weight loss. 7. Eat healthily and within an hour of waking up.

It`s recommended to eat within the first hour of waking. Having a solid morning routine is an excellent way of setting the tone for the day.
