In a nutshell:

Stop Eating Sugar And This Is What Happens To Your Body The problem with sugar is that it tricks the brain into wanting more and more of it. Natural sugars found in whole foods like veggies and fruits are the good kind. When you cut out added sugar from your diet and maintain a healthy blood glucose level, it can slow the process of skin aging. A high-sugar diet promotes the production of AGEs or advanced glycation end products, and these are strongly associated with the skin`s aging process.

Moreover, high sugar levels prevent the repair of the skin`s collagen, the protein that keeps it looking plump. So, if you want to keep visible aging signs at bay and maintain younger-looking skin, then you better stop sugar. Added sugars are simple carbs. But if you stop fueling your body with added sugar, and instead, eat nutrient-dense food, then you can have a constant supply of healthy energy.

For example, sugary fare raises your blood sugar, releasing a surge of insulin in your body, which over time, contributes to fat accumulation around your middle. So, when you stop eating sugary foods, you`ll then start reducing belly fat. Abdominal fat is dangerous, and is in fact, the riskiest kind, as they cause inflammation that can contribute to conditions like heart disease and cancer. Once you quit sugar, you`ll find out soon that losing weight and keeping it off is easier now.

That`s because sugar is made up of empty calories, meaning they add calories to your body yet don`t have nutrients. On top of that, consuming added sugar regularly can promote insulin resistance, which in turn, increases belly fat storage. Therefore, dropping some pounds can be accomplished by eliminating sugar from your diet. Observational studies found that people who consume too much added sugar are at a higher risk of getting cardiovascular disease, independent of other risk factors such as weight.

In another study, it was shown that people who had 10-24% of their daily calories as added sugar were 30% more likely to die from heart disease than those who had less than 10%. Ideally, you must have no more than six teaspoons of added sugar. One very concerning disadvantage of eating sugar is the increased inflammation in the body. But did you know that giving up sugar also lowers your risk of diabetes in another way? A diet rich in fast-digesting carbs like sugar makes the pancreas hold onto lots of insulin meal after meal every day.

Without sugar in your diet, you can control your weight and maintain a good blood sugar level, both of which lower your diabetes risk. Do you often have uncontrollable sugar cravings? A great way to reduce and eventually stop them is to simply steer clear of added sugars. 8. Fewer sugar cravings These can include anxiety, headaches, and worse, stronger-than-normal sugar cravings for a few days.

To make it easier for your body, try gradually reducing your sugar intake, instead of going cold turkey right away. If yes, then an effective way to rectify that is to swear off sugar.
