Schedule a Mammogram to Detect Breast Cancer Early | UCLA Health & Circle of Health

Routine care is the best way to keep you and your breasts healthy. Early detection decreases breast cancer deaths. The American College of Radiology recommends annual mammogram screening beginning at age 40 for women of average risk. Higher-risk women should start mammographic screening earlier and may benefit from supplemental screening modalities.
