Psoriatic arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis are both autoimmune disorders that cause joint inflammation and pain, so how are they different? We spoke with Dr. Suleman Bhana, FACR, a rheumatologist, who revealed that psoriatic arthritis patients often have asymmetric arthritis while rheumatoid arthritis is more likely to affect the same joints on both sides of the body.
