Devote your next hour to your physical health.

You can take a short drive to your local gym and do some deadlifts, squats, and bench presses.

After hitting the gym, you can enjoy soaking your body in a hot tub, since most gyms offer aquatic facilities like hot tubs and swimming pools.

Make breakfast for yourself, your pet, your loved one, or your family.

You should never skip breakfast because it’s the most important meal of the day.

You don’t have to be elaborated, or heavy for that matter. You will only need something healthy, a meal that’s easy to digest and convert into energy.

Drink a glass of water.

Despite your love of coffee, a large glass of water is the first thing you should drink every morning. There are a ton of health benefits you can get from drinking enough water.

Drinking water in the morning before you start doing something else can help awaken yourself and feel refreshed.

Do something you’re passionate about.

No one likes getting up too early in the morning. One of the possible reasons for that is you’re getting up to do something you’d rather not do.

For example, you might prefer to stay in bed instead of going to work. It makes getting up early, hard, and unenjoyable. You will have to force yourself to wake up and use your willpower just to get out of bed.

Morning meditation is one of the best ways to set yourself up for a successful day. Set aside 15 to 20 minutes of your time each morning for meditation.

It will help you leave the house with a clearer mind than you woke up with.

Any troubles that you might’ve carried over from the day before, that you may still be thinking about as you get ready, can be eased with a morning meditation.

Take a cold shower.

This can be hard to do, particularly in the winter months. But taking a cold shower before you head out for your appointments each morning has many benefits.

First, It will wake you up a lot. The cold water shock will shake off any of your lingering sleepiness within seconds. It immediately gets your heart pumping and your blood flowing.

Make your bed.

According to Naval Admiral William McRaven, “If you want to change the world, start by making your bed.”

Success starts with small things. Small actions that build habits and character like making your bed mean you start the day off right.

One of the ways to have a productive morning is to get a head start on it as soon as you wake up. Preparing everything you need to do later will result in a more productive morning.

The thought of making too many decisions in the morning during working or while doing something will slow you down, and it drains your brain for the rest of the day.

Practice and start doing stillness.

As much as your body movement is important in the morning, so is practicing stillness. Activities like meditation and breathing are all great examples of what stillness might look like as part of your morning routine.

Practicing stillness can help you feel grounded, focused, and ready to effectively prioritize your tasks. Skipping this step can lead you to continue feeling rushed and less effective in your day.

Give yourself some time.

Don’t hit snooze right away. It can be so hard, especially in the beginning, but a good morning routine allows you enough time to actually enjoy and benefit from not hitting snooze right away.

There are some assumptions that you have to wake up at 4 a.m for you to have a good morning routine.
