1 min read

In this episode of the UCLA BrainSPORT Podcast, Harvard Assistant Professor of Neurology and Neuroscientist at the Italian Institute of Technology, Dr. Lorella Batteli, and Adel discuss the use of non-invasive neuromodulation.

In Part A, the pair first discuss neuromodulation for brain injury and other pathological states. They first focus on Dr. Battelli’s research investigating the use of transcranial neuro-stimulation to improve attention and vision following brain injury. They also discuss how neurostimulation actually improves brain injury and the different modalities of neuro-stimulation and their potential benefits, particularly transcranial magnetic stimulation.
